Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire

In the heart of rural Cheshire, Owen House Wedding Barn has to be one of my all-time favourite spots. It’s the kind of barn wedding venue that makes you feel like you’re stepping into your own little countryside haven. 

This family-run Cheshire wedding venue is all about comfort and creating a relaxed, joyful experience for everyone involved – no uptight wedding vibes here!

What I absolutely love about Owen House is the variety of spaces they offer. From the flower-covered pagoda in the gardens (hello, dreamy couple portraits!) to the main event barn decked out with fairy lights, every inch of this venue oozes rustic vibes. 

The barn itself is perfect for both your ceremony and reception. It's licensed for civil ceremonies and can hold up to 190 people for your wedding breakfast. 

Oh, and if you’re planning an epic dance party, there’s room for even more in the evening! They usually have a disco ball for the evening party, too!

For the bridal party, the dressing suites are an absolute treat. The Beauty Shed is kitted out with everything you could need for getting ready, such as salon chairs, a Prosecco fridge (yes, please), and even complimentary towels for those last-minute touch-ups. 

And let’s not forget the Baa-BER Shed for the gents, complete with a beer fridge and table football, because who doesn’t need a cheeky game before heading down the aisle?!

As a wedding photographer in Cheshire, Owen House is a dream to work at. Their designated shooting gallery is like a little slice of heaven for newlyweds, offering bespoke backdrops and props that make your photos epic.

Oh, and this is a dog-friendly wedding venue, too!

And because the cabins are right there, you can stretch your wedding into a two- or three-day celebration, giving you plenty of time to soak up every moment.

The clear-fronted tipis mean you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding woodland and lakes while staying snug and dry inside, which is perfect for those classic unpredictable British weather days!
